NEIGHBORHOOD SHITSURINDO . ICHIJO-WAN 2626566N-AC01

Product Code: 2626566N-AC01

A collaboration with Shitsurindo, a long-established Echizen lacquerware maker founded in 1793 in Echizen, Japan's oldest lacquerware-producing region. Both brands' logos are applied to an Echizen hard-lacquer bowl. The 4-sun Ichijo bowl uses a refined "shin-nuri" lacquering technique in which the lacquer is repeatedly filtered to remove fine particles and then applied in a single coat without leaving brush marks. While retaining a traditional form, it offers improved heat resistance and durability compared with conventional lacquerware and can be used for rice, simmered dishes, and dressed foods. Despite its natural lacquer finish, it is dishwasher-safe.
